Swap an Associated Component

Students have the option to change the discussion section (or other course component) of a course without being required to drop the lecture. You may only swap to an open section.

Swapping an Associated Component

  1. Open your enrolled classes and identify the course with an associated component. Classes eligible for swapping will display a green arrow.
  2. Click the green arrow to view available sections, then select the green arrow next to the section you want to swap into.
  3. Click Save to confirm the discussion section swap.
  4. YES will take you to your enrolled classes, where the updated section will be shown.
