Vanderbilt's policies regarding advanced credit and course placement are outlined in the  Vanderbilt University Undergraduate Catalog. Please note that credit policy is subject to change.

• SAT and ACT Course Placement

To submit test scores, please contact the appropriate testing agency. Vanderbilt's College Board ID is 1871.

Please note: Effective Fall 2026, a score of 4 or 5 on the AP Environmental Science exam will garner 3 credit hours of CES 2051, and a score of 4 or 5 on the AP Human Geography exam will garner 3 credit hours of CES 2053.

Vanderbilt does not grant credit for the International Baccalaureate exam in Business Management.
