OBTAINING YOUR VANDERBILT ID CARD

All NEW freshmen, transfer students, and graduate/professional students should obtain a Vanderbilt ID Card as soon as possible after arriving on campus. A Vanderbilt ID card is required to enter libraries and residence halls, to gain entrance to and use the Student Recreation Center facilities, and to gain entrance to athletic events. ID Cards provide the ability to utilize debit spending accounts at campus retail locations that accept the Vanderbilt Card as a method of payment. These locations include Vanderbilt Dining locations, the Bookstores, Varsity Markets, Campus Copy, the Timeout Cafe', Station B post office, Student Health, Outdoor Recreation Center, Student Recreation Center, the Overcup Oak, many campus vending machines, the laundries, selected campus copiers, and the Sarratt Ticket Desk.

All students, with the exception of Medical and Nursing students, may obtain their ID cards in the Vanderbilt Card Office located in 184 Sarratt. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.  Medical and Nursing students may obtain their ID cards at the VUMC Card Office located at 018 Medical Arts Building. 


SPOUSE ID CARDS
Spouse cards of full-time students can be made during normal business hours. To obtain a spouse ID the following is required:
1.  proof of marriage
2.  student's ID
3.  $10 (check or cash only)
